01 Foreword
DAS public beta launched on June 10th, 2021(UTC+0) and has attracted many people worldwide. Over 20 days, the number of registered accounts exceeded 40,000 and the number of unique Owner addresses exceeded 30,000.
Previously, DAS has completed a seed round of funding led by HashKey and SNZ.
02 Everyone Needs a DAS Account
DAS is a practical cross-chain decentralized domain name/account system that provides a globally unique name system with a .bit suffix.

What should I do to avoid writing down the wrong addresses?
Register “alice.bit” and add all chains’ addresses to records. Anyone who transfers tokens to me, I only need to send my DAS account “alice.bit” to receive all types of digital currency.

The best feature of DAS is that it supports all chains’ private key. (The current version supports private keys for ETH and TRON, with more public chains in development). This means that the DAS account you hold can be transferred in numerous blockchain communities.
As an example.
I registered “appletree.bit” with an ETH address and wanted to transfer it to my friend.
But my friend only has a TRON address, does he have to create a new ETH address to receive “appletree.bit”?
No. I can simply transfer the ownership of “appletree.bit” to his/her TRON address. Once confirmed on chain, the transfer is successful.

03 Registration Rules
DAS uses the hot lucky box game. No one can know all open accounts. You will only know if an account is open for registration when you search the account you want in DAS App. The open rules are as follows.
5–9 digits: Randomly open (5%) in DAS Alpha launch
10+ digits: All open
How do I check if the account I want is available for registration?
Once DAS goes live, go to DAS App from the website (https://da.systems/) and search the account you want. “Available” means the account is available for registration.
5% of the accounts with 5–9 characters will be randomly open for registration. The rule is as below:
The account name (including the .bit suffix) will be hashed using the blake2b algorithm, and the first byte of the hash result is taken as an u8 integer, and when the integer is less than or equal to 12, the account is open for registration.
Overview of All DAS accounts
As a public resource, DAS accounts should not be occupied by a few people when DAS social impact is not strong enough. For this reason, DAS accounts are open for registration on a gradual basis.
04 Pricing
Registration Cost = Annual Fee * Years + Frozen Storage Fee
Annual Fee
*Get a 5% discount when you register by filling in a inviter’s account.
Frozen storage fees
The storage fee corresponds to the storage space required to store account information on chain. DAS has been well-designed so that no matter how many records a DAS account has, only a fixed storage fee is frozen. The frozen storage fee is approximately 300 CKB per DAS account.
If the account expires and is not renewed, the frozen storage fee will be returned to the account’s owner address.
05 How to register a DAS account?
You can register via the wallet App in your mobile phone or the wallet plugin on your computer. ETH, TRX, CKB and WeChat payments are currently supported and more payment methods will be supported in the future.

06 Invitation Rewards
DAS has its own invitation mechanism in the contract.
If someone else uses your invitation link when registering a DAS account or fills in your DAS account as an inviter’s account.
Then, you will receive 10% of others’ registration cost as an invitation bonus. The reward will be credited instantly in the form of CKB. The rewards can be viewed in「Rewards」section in DAS App.
This means that the more people you invite, the more rewards you will receive.
